Guitar need to be tuned before playing. There are three main ways to tune guitar. You can tune guitar using electronic tuner or can tune listening with your ear and can tune with keyboard.

Tune by Electronic Tuner


Electronic tuner comes with in built microphone for tune accostic guitar and for electric guitar you can directly plug your instrument cable into the tuner then follow the directions of your tuner. Electronic tuner is easy to use and accurate way to tune guitar.

Tune by ear


Tuning using your ear it is a advance process. You have to judge the pitch of the note by listening the note, its need some time for the beginners.
For tune with ear at first you need a reference E note from  any other instrument then match the pitch of E note with first string open E note, then play E note on 2 string 5th fret and match with first string open E note, then play note B on third string 4th fret and match with open string B note on 2nd string then play note G on fourth string 5th fret and match with 3rd string open G note then play note D on 5th string 5th fret and match with 4th string open D note then lastly play note A on 6th string 5th fret and match with 5th string open A note.
